Hali Danielson was born on Thanksgiving Day of 1987, thereby absolving her mom from that year’s Thanksgiving duties (you’re welcome, Mom). Since then, Hali has been working, and even occasionally succeeding, in continuing that streak of helping her fellow human.
In 2010, Hali received a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Linguistics from the University of Chicago, and subsequently classified herself as a member of “Generation Limbo,” (look it up, people) in order to dodge questions concerning the practicality and real-world applicability of such a degree. In her pursuit to find more marketable skills, Hali spends her time reading about politics, hip-hop, and cooking, in the hope that her dream of becoming a rapping chef pundit will one day come true.
Hali does not usually refer to herself in the third person.
